Everyday Face Cost

After seeing this on a blog this morning I was intrigued to see how much it costs me to 'put on my face' every day.

I have photographed the makeup that I use almost every day so I can get a realistic figure:

Avon MagiX Face Perfector: £10.50
Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer: £4.19
Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation: £8.99
Miners B*Fabulous Loose Powder (Discontinued but I have one pot left): Was £4.99
Beauty UK Clear Mascara (worn under my other mascara):  £2.49
17 Peep Show Mascara in Black: £6.29
Avon Glimmerstick Eye Liner in Blackest Black: £6.00
Avon Eyeshadow Quad in Pink Sands: £8.50
Benefit Hervana Blush: £23.50
Avon Lip Liner in Pink Bouquet: £6.00
No 7 Lipstick in Divine: £10.00
Clarins Fix' Make-Up: £20.00

Total Cost that I estimated: £80.00
Actual Cost:  £111.45 - for just 12 products???

I was a little bit out then! Oops ...

I would love to know how much this works out per wear but I obviously couldn't work that out unless I counted each time I used a product ... maybe in future I will!

  5. Love your blog! I usually use make-up from the brand E.L.F. which prices ranges from $1-$5 for everyday stuff and $25 for special collections. But other than that I LOVE to splurge LOL. I am your newest blog fan and member! Check out my blog and follow back if you like it.

    1. Let me know if you do it! I do feel that I get lots of use out of my products. I don't seem to buy many that I don't like and even if I'm not keen on something I try and use it all up (unless of course, it's bad)x

    1. Aww bless ya! It does come as a bit of a shock doesn't it? I'm definitely going to do a 'cost per wear' when I get any new products. Mind you, think I should use everything else up before I even think of buying anything new!x

    1. Hervana worked out as a good purchase for me as I now use it almost everyday. I think I've used an older blusher once since I bought it so well worth it xx
